Here it is next to an ND Miata. Fun fact: the Corvette wheelbase is only 1.5" or so off from the classic MGB. Small cars!

Another fun fact: That Corvette might have less horsepower than the Miata.

(assuming it’s not in factory-fresh condition, which was 165hp in a 1975 base model)

Absolutely no way in hell. It’s an 11.0:1 compression 350-hp stormer. The malaise cars have big rubber bumpers and are easy to spot.
